What happened between the Cardinals and the Reds in the match yesterday?

I do not really understand what was happening. I could see that Brandon Philips (Reds) approached his at-bat, Yadier Molina (Cards) said something and they started to discuss them. Then all players from both teams came out and started talking. Then a fight broke out between the two teams. What happened and why?

Brandon Philips went to the plate and made his regular routine touching the feet of the receiver with his bat. Yadier Molina was bothered by this because comments made by Philips, one day to complain and call it itches b *.
