England Sevens
Is this the cliffs of Dover (aka Seven Sisters), England play a role in the Second World War?

I ask because I do remember during the war. All I remember is that shelters are round with a small window that looked out on the soldiers outside. Not the German forces are believed to attack there?

The white cliffs of Dover are cliffs on the coast along the English channel that separates England from France. During World War 2 have been heavily fortified, like the rest of the coast are a reference point well known for people traveling to England by sea from France and is the nearest point of England in Europe. The Seven Sisters are all quite different cliffs to the west on the coast itself. During World War 2 someone wrote a sentimental song about the horrible white cliffs of Dover, which was sung by a popular singer named Vera Lynn. The German forces would attack England during World War 2 in At any place on this coast, but would not choose the white cliffs of Dover, because they are too high, they would have chosen higher altitudes Cuckmere Gap and bass which is west of the seven sisters.
